How a Director Should Judge a Marketing Agency
If you are the person who has to explain the marketing to a sales meeting and to the people you are trying to hire, you do not have time for a credentials presentation. You need to know whether the work will still be true when your best customer watches it.
Most agency pitches, in the current market, will look excellent. Generating a mood film is cheap. That is why the finish is no longer the test.
Three questions that sort it
Who is in the film, and do they work at that company. What happened after it went out, in calls, quotes, bookings, or hires, not in views alone. Who writes the words, who films, and who answers when something is wrong. If the answers are vague, the reel is a showroom. The longer buying guide, written without the director’s problems in mind, is how to choose an agency in Cyprus. The direct version of the “best agency” question is there is no single best, here is the test.
What you should refuse
A guarantee of virality. A library of generated scenes sold as your brand. A report that leads with likes. A process that needs the managing director on camera every month. None of that helps a sales team or a hiring manager. What helps is in video for the people who close and in the hiring side of the same footage.
What a sensible first month looks like
One visit. A small number of true films. A decision about where they go: the page, the ads, the job posts, the salesperson’s phone. Then a number you agreed in advance. The shape of the visit is one filming day for sales and hiring. If you want that conversation with us, it starts at the start page.
